Champion a cleaner, safer planet on Earth Day

Protect our future

The first Earth Day took place in 1970. Since then, more than 1 billion people have participated by raising awareness, volunteering and championing a cleaner, safer planet. We’ve learned a great deal about our world in the past 26 years, including the seriousness of the challenges we face and the important role we can play. This year’s Earth Day is a rallying cry for what we can do as individuals, and a reminder of what we can achieve collectively. As Earthday.org explains, “When your voice and your actions are united with thousands or millions of others around the world, we create a movement that is inclusive, impactful, and impossible to ignore.”

Nonprofit organizations across the planet are fighting for the world we will leave for the next generation. They are dedicated to education, advocacy, research, wildlife protection, habitat restoration and much more. You can join with millions of people this Earth Day and support the vital work of protecting our future.
