Margo Cardenas

Margo leads the Community Operations team for RTX and is responsible for overseeing the organization’s regional community portfolio, as well as the grants and operations team. Prior to this role, Margo led Corporate Social Responsibility for RTX’s Pratt & Whitney business unit. Before joining RTX, Margo oversaw community relations at the United Nations Association of Greater Boston, an independent nonprofit and chapter of UNA-USA. In this capacity, Margo worked extensively to increase awareness of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in the Greater Boston community, including incorporating them into curriculum for students. Margo began her career in business, graduating from the University of Connecticut with a degree in marketing and a minor in Spanish and international relations. In 2018, she completed her master’s in international management at IE Business School as a Fulbright Scholar. Margo is passionate about harnessing the power of business to solve societal challenges and is an enthusiastic B Corp supporter. She also enjoys traveling, learning new languages, and hiking with her dog and husband.
