
Aldustus (A.J.) Jordan
Aldustus (A.J.) Jordan is a mission-driven corporate social impact executive with wide-ranging leadership experience in the private and non-profit sectors. He currently serves as Head of Community Stewardship and Foundation President for Vanguard, overseeing the company’s global strategy for relationship-based philanthropy, inspirational employee volunteer programs, and civic engagement efforts that build trust with community stakeholders. Prior to joining Vanguard, A.J. served as the National Head of Community Relations for the Wells Fargo Foundation, where he led a team of corporate social impact leaders who integrated company expertise, skills-based volunteerism, thought leadership and $100M in annual philanthropic investments to strengthen local communities.
A.J. began his career as a social worker and public education advocate, which has shaped his community-centered values and provided a foundation for his current work. He is a frequent speaker within the corporate social impact sector on effective strategies for building mutually beneficial public and private partnerships and currently serves on the board of directors for the Association for Corporate Citizenship Professionals and the Philadelphia Foundation, one of the first community foundations in the world.
A.J. is a graduate of the University of Delaware and University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Social Policy and Practice. He lives in the Greater Philadelphia region with his wife, a non-profit CEO and two teenage daughters.
