Updated: Health and Safety Protocols

As the pandemic has evolved since we opened registration in January, so have our health and safety protocols for Goodness Matters.

 

In-Person Vaccine Requirements

In accordance with the State of California and County of San Diego, in-person attendees will not be required to show proof of full vaccination to attend to the conference. Rapid antigen tests will be available by request, with optional PCR test if an attendee tests positive. We will follow CDC guidelines for isolation, and help any attendee that requires assistance to extend their stay in San Diego if required.

 

Additional health and safety protocols:

  • Masks are optional indoors in the event spaces
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the venue
  • Meals will be served outdoors at Goodness Matters

Where is Goodness Matters 2022 taking place?

This year’s in-person event is being hosted at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, just north of San Diego.  

 

The Omni La Costa is an award-winning resort and spa with eight pools, two championship golf courses, beaches within easy reach, many on-site dining options and beautiful conference spaces to host all the inspiring programming we have planned.  

How far is the resort from the airport?

The Omni La Costa is about 30 miles from the San Diego airport. Rental cars, taxis and ride shares are all available at the airport 

Is accommodation included in the conference rate?

No, accommodation isn’t included, but we have secured a preferred rate with the Omni La Costa for Goodness Matters attendees. An exclusive rate of US$259 (+ taxes and fees) is available on a first-come, first-served basis when you book by May 7.

When can I select my workshops and breakout sessions?

You will receive an email in late May when the conference platform launches. Breakout sessions and workshops can be selected then.

What is the cancellation policy?

Registration cancellations must be sent to goodnessmatters@benevity.com prior to the event. Cancellations received by May 18 at 11:59 p.m. PDT will be eligible for a full refund (less a US$75 processing fee). Cancellations after May 18 may not be eligible for a refund.

Will all the sessions available in-person be offered online as well?

Some sessions, like Open Space, don’t work great online. However, we will ensure all mainstage presentations, breakouts and other high-impact sessions will be available for everyone attending online. To see which sessions will be available online, check out the agenda.  

When can I select my sessions?

You will receive an email in late May when the conference platform launches and can select your sessions then.  

How can I connect with other attendees?

You will be able to connect with both online and in-person attendees through the conference platform once it launches.  

Will I have the opportunity to meet 1:1 with a Benevity Techspert if I attend online?

Yes! Online attendees will be able to meet 1:1 with Benevity Techsperts, and live and recorded product demos will also be available. Product demo times will be shared in May. 

After I register, how do I access the event, the sessions and more on the platform?

Details on how to log in to the conference platform will be available in advance of the event. Watch for an email in May!  

What is Goodness Matters?

Goodness Matters is the conference for CSR pros. It’s the place where you can connect with a community of passionate Goodness-enablers, learn from trailblazers, discover new ideas and celebrate your impact together.

Who should attend Goodness Matters?

If you’re a dreamer and a doer in the corporate purpose space, you should attend Goodness Matters!

Do I need to be a client of Benevity to attend Goodness Matters?

No! All purpose-fueled professionals are welcome to join us in-person or online for all the Goodness.

Is there a cost to attend Goodness Matters 2022?

Yes, there is a cost to attend both the in-person and online events. For conference rates, check out the registration page 

How do I register?

Are group rates available?

A group discount of 10% is available if three or more people from the same company are attending. The discount is offered on all pass types, and all participants must register at the same time with the same credit card to receive the discount automatically.  

 

If you are registering three or more people from the same company with different pass types, please email goodnessmatters@benevity.com. 

What is the cancellation policy?

Can more than one person attend the conference using the same ticket?  

No. Each person attending Goodness Matters (both online and in-person) must have their own ticket.  

Can I switch my attendee experience to online after registering for the in-person event?

Yes. We know that times are uncertain, and we want you to be comfortable with and excited about attending Goodness Matters 2022. If you would like to change your registration, please email goodnessmatters@benevity.com by May 18 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.  You will receive a refund of the difference between the two rates (less a US$75 processing fee).

If I need to switch from an in-person pass to an online pass, is there a refund?

Yes, we will refund the difference in pass cost. Please contact us at  to make this change.

Can I change my pass type?

Yes. To change or update your pass, please contact goodnessmatters@benevity.com. Upgrades to in-person are available until May 18 at 11:59 p.m. PDT, or while quantities last.  

I can no longer attend the event. Can I give my pass to my colleague?

Absolutely. Attendee substitutions (from the same organization) can be made until May 30 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Please email goodnessmatters@benevity.com with the name and email address of your replacement.  

I registered but have not received a confirmation. Who can I contact?

When does registration close?

For in-person tickets, registration closes May 20 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. For online tickets, the deadline is May 30 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
