Kim Darby

Kim Darby is the Community Relations Manager at Symetra Financial. She has been with Symetra for 11 years; she currently manages the company’s employee community engagement and giving programs, as well as activation of key community programming with the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Storm and Seattle Kraken. Kim encourages and supports Symetra’s employee community involvement through programs such as I CARE – Symetra’s employee giving campaign, the Symetra Summer of Service, and holiday giving which engage employees across the country with local nonprofits. Kim's thoughtful and innovative efforts have helped drive a nearly 20% increase in Symetra’s employee community engagement. In addition, she currently serves on the Board of Directors for Encompass NW, a nonprofit supporting families and children through Pediatric Therapy, Early Learning and Family Enrichment.

Kim lives in a little mountain town outside of Seattle, WA. When she isn’t ‘nerding-out’ over data and color-coded spreadsheets (Hello ISFJ-T & Enneagram 6!), you can find her enjoying the beautiful PNW with her husband and two kids, or in her garden.
