Karem Pérez 

Karem Pérez is an inspirational and results-driven leader with more than 20 years experience across B2B and B2C businesses. As vice president of diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) at Motorola Solutions, Karem is responsible for building a diverse workplace and inclusive culture, where DEI is embedded in everything the company does: from its recruitment and advancement practices to the partnerships it cultivates to the innovations it creates. Karem also serves as executive director of the Motorola Solutions Foundation, where she oversees more than $12 million in giving annually through the Foundation’s strategic grants program, global disaster relief and community engagement initiatives, and manages charitable giving and volunteerism for Motorola Solutions’ more than 20,000 employees around the world. 
Prior to leading the Foundation, Karem held a number of marketing leadership roles for Motorola Solutions, Motorola Mobility and Motorola, Inc. Karem has a passion for storytelling and leveraging her marketing experience to elevate the human impact that the Office of DEI and the Motorola Solutions Foundation have – both within the company, and in communities and organizations around the world.
